Kevin Platt is a third generation resident of the Tampa Bay Area. Kevin joined Smith & Associates Real Estate in 1988 and has focused on Commercial Real Estate since 1991. Kevin maintains a primary membership in the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors (GTAR) and a secondary membership in the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association (FGCAR) which allows access to proprietary MLS and Commercial Information Exchange databases to provide maximum exposure and search capabilities for the Tampa Bay Area and West Central Florida.

Kevin has successfully developed specific marketing programs for a wide range of asset classes including Retail, Office, Industrial and Multifamily product that have consistently generated sale values that were favorably received by clients. Client representation has included many local, regional and national lending institutions, as well as local and regional business owners.

Additionally, Kevin has represented buyers in the identification, evaluation and acquisition for all major asset classes. Kevin’s historical knowledge of transactions in the Tampa Bay area provides a value added basis to effectively negotiate the most favorable deal structure.

In order to fully service the full range of client requirements Kevin has established a successful approach to facilitate both Landlord and Tenant Representation. The primary focus of these efforts has been directed towards office and retail clients in the Tampa Bay Area.

Sales and Leasing of professional office, retail and industrial buildings

Seller and Buyer representation for the disposition and identification of suitable, infill development sites for development

Development of marketing strategies for the sale and lease of free-standing commercial buildings

Since 1998 Kevin has been recognized as a Pinnacle Award winner each year for annual production through FGCAR and served on the Board of Directors 2005 and 2006. Additionally, FGCAR has recognized Kevin’s annual commercial sales and leasing production efforts by awarding various “Top Producer” Pinnacle Awards in various asset classes including Investment, Retail, and General Brokerage.

Kevin is a recipient of the 2014 National Association of Realtors National Commercial Award.
